IMPORTANT DETAILS: The Corvette was assembled on December 8, 1964. It was ordered through Bob Motl Chevrolet in Chicago, IL.

This year (2021) the owner submitted his 1965 Rally Red Corvette Convertible for NCRS judging. As you know that is a very intensive process handled by a team of expert judges.

The judges were amazed at the condition of the Vette and strongly advised the owner not to restore the car. They said it would not take much to bring it to Top Flight status without any restoration.

CONDITION RATING (7): The owner said the overall cosmetic condition of his 1965 Corvette Convertible is outstanding and rated it 7 out of ten.   

The Vette has been well preserved. The paint has a high gloss finish and the chrome sparkles in the sunlight. Yes, both the paint and interior match the trim plate codes.

The owner reports all the switches and gauges work The engine, transmission, differential, brakes, etc. are all in excellent operating condition. As you know, the L76 is a high-performance small block. This one will put a lasting smile on your face.
