Our offer today is a very special model, the 1956 Corvette which received the first major body styling change since it's inception.   This fine example comes dressed in a stunning and rare color, Arctic Blue with only 390 made out of a total production of 3467 for the year., accented with the Beige contrasting coves. Interior is the correct  Shoreline Beige.  

Power comes from the standard 265 V8 engine rated at 225 HP.  Engine has the correct "FG" suffix signifying the dual 4-barrel carb with Powerglide Automatic transmission, and the other correct stamps as seen in the pics, so we can safely assume that "numbers match".  The Automatic Powerglide transmission was a rare  option and is present on this car.   Tires are new.

It appears that the car went through a thorough restoration process since all is complete, in excellent condition and in working order.    Interior is correct for the year, is complete and in very good condition.  Note the vintage RCA 45 RPM record player in the dash!

It starts right away, drives as it should, shifts properly with no apparent issues.     Undercarriage is clean and detailed.
