The current owner purchased the Chevelle SS 396 Covertible as a project. He owned a body shop for 10 years and has considerable experience restoring cars

This was a body off restoration.

• The engine is 454 cubic inch block that runs strong.
• Transmission is a Turbo-Hydramatic 400 and shifts as normal.
• Positraction differential (3.90 ratio).
• All the sheet metal is new.
• The interior seats, door panels, and instrument panel are original (black vinyl).
• Included with the sale are all the parts to restore the seats.
• The gauge cluster has been restored.
• Paint: 1969 Mustang Candy Apple Red.
• The convertible top (power) is new.
• The chassis has been completely restored.
• A photo album documenting the restoration is included with the sale.
