Introduced for the first time as a fast back in 1978, the T-top Coupe was chosen to pace the Indy 500 race and a special RPO was offered adorned with unique paint, interior and graphics.  Corvette also celebrated its 25th Anniversary with a another special Silver edition, however all 1978s sported the "25th Anniversary Edition" emblem.

This fine example started its life as a L48 base engine and now has a newer GM 350 engine.  It appears to be freshened up recently, starts right away, runs strong with no hesitation and exhibits lots of power.  Mated with an automatic transmission in great working condition, apparently fitted with a shift kit.  Other options include power windows, tilt and telescopic steering wheel, rear window defogger, standard painted top and steel wheels.

Car is very presentable, being well detailed under the hood and the undercarriage.  AC blows cold, vacuum headlights operate properly, power windows go up and down as they should...

Interior (carpet, seat covers, dash, door panels) appear to be recently replaced and look like new.  Paint is very shinny and the front nose and rear bumper were just repainted. 

All in all, this is a great choice for a starter Corvette to be used for a daily driver and the Sunday car show... Car is located in Sarasota FL and we will assist with delivery nationwide and international.
