The year was 1979 and Corvettes were at the height of their popularity.  No more than 53807 were produced, making it the highest production for Corvettes ever!  We see these example all over the spectrum and, sadly, the majority of them did not receive the love they deserve...  But, we do have something special, a beautiful example of the vintage, a very nice Coupe in pristine condition showing only 17K miles, which, judging by the overall condition, may be the actual miles.

First of all, it came equipped from the factory with pretty much all the options available from the factory: Automatic transmission, LOF glass tops (very desirable today), aluminum wheels, power windows, power locks, tilt/tele steering wheel and cruise control.   Engine is the base L48 orginal to the car.

With the exception of a recent paintjob, all on the Vette is original.  The interior (seat covers, carpet, dash...) are the ones that came from the factory and are in excellent shape. All the instruments work including the clock (!).  The air blows cold, the vacuum system is operational.  Has new tires and the brakes were redone. 

You are more than welcome to come and take a look at it.  While the miles cannot be documented, all the tell-tale signs on this car strongly indicate a low mile car, unmolested, complete and original.  It will definitely make a great investement potential, all the while a very civilized daily driver and Sunday show winner.
