1980 was a great year for the Corvette.  It became 250 lbs lighter thanks to more use of Aluminum and plastic, got newly redesigned front and rear spoiler and tilt/telescoping steering column became a new option.

We are proud to offer a very fine example of that era endowed with the rare 4-speed manual transmission.  Total production was 40614 and only 5726 received this transmission.  Born Silver, it now sports a stunning Red paint in next to excellent condition.  Interior is the original Black leather in great shape with new center console, new embroidered floor mats, new stereo, also, has power windows in working condition.   Has two sets of tops, the painted and the transparent ones, also a new windshield.   The original polyurethane bumper is now on the car showing \"character marks\", that is the usual warping, but a new reproduction bumper in fiberglass is available and comes with the car together with the Corvette logo as pictured.

Engine appears to be the base L48 nicely adorned with Chrome valve covers, and Chrome filter cover.   Present owner installed new AC compressor, new headlight actuators and relay.  Recently a new set of Doug Thorley Chrome side pipes was installed creating a race look with a great sound, yet civilized.  Original Aluminum wheels where polished to perfection and now have a mirror finish. Tires are in very good condition.

All in all, a great Corvette ready for the road and show.  Corvette trades are entertained.
