That is an incredible accomplishment for a “survivor Corvette!”

Do you know the requirement for receiving a NCRS Bow Tie Award? The chassis and engine must be at least 80% original. The exterior and interior parts of the Vette have to be at least 85% original.

Did we mention the owner states his 1972 Targa Blue LT-1 Corvette T-top is believed to be one of one? Yes, we said “1 of 1.”  Now that’s a true example of rare!

Besides having factory air (1 of only 240 so equipped that year), this 1972 Targa Blue LT-1 Corvette T-top completed production in May 4, 1972 without a radio and just the standard manual brakes.

According to the current owner, it appears no other factory original 1972 LT-1 Targa Blue Corvette T-top with AC and no radio or power brakes has ever been seen.

Some of the documentation on this Corvette includes: Original factory window sticker. All glove box items including key knockouts and seat shims. Dealer delivery check sheet. Protect-O-Plate, Tank Sticker, and a lot more.

CONDITION RATING: The owner said the overall cosmetic condition of his Corvette is excellent when compared to other original “survivor” 1972 Corvettes. Yes, you will see some minor paint damage and a few interior vinyl cracks (armrest). That adds to the originality of the Vette.

The owner reports the Vette handles very well. Its performance is as you would expect from the LT-1 engine.
