THE VETTE NET - Nationwide Corvette Brokerage Network, proud Lifetime Member of the National Corvette Museum is pleased to offer a very nice 1977 Coupe, an excellent example of an entry level Corvette.

Back in 1977, as Luke Skywalker learns the power of The Force in Star Wars, Corvette owners learn how to use the Cruise Control for the first time and the 500,000th Corvette rolls off St. Louis Plant Assembly line in March 15th.

There were 49,213 Corvettes produced in 1977. This was the year the Corvette dropped the secondary title “Stingray” from its name, but other changes were relatively minor. The “door ajar” warning light was abandoned, for instance, and the steering wheel sported a leather-wrapped rim. A new emblem, the classic two flags badge could be found on the hood and on the fuel filler door. This was also the first Corvette that came with standard leather seats.

The exterior of the car was available in eleven colors: classic white, silver, black, Corvette light blue, Corvette dark blue, Corvette yellow, Corvette bright yellow, Corvette orange, Corvette tan, medium red, and Corvette dark red. There was also a color called Corvette chartreuse, but it was only used on one car. This Corvette went to Jimi Hendrix for a concert in Miami. Classic white was the most popular color, followed by black, Corvette light blue, and silver.

In addition, red and blue trim became available. The wheels on all the cars were silver. A set of four aluminum wheels could be purchased for an additional $321. The Corvette engine color was changed from orange to blue in 1976; a few of the early production 1977 Corvettes still have the orange-painted engines.

On the interior, consumers could choose whether they wanted cloth or leather seats. The color choices for both cloth and leather included smoked grey, black, blue, buckskin, brown, and red. White was available only in leather.

1977 marked the last of the

THE VETTE NET.com is a nationwide Corvette brokerage network and a proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum. We are Corvette enthusiasts and owners just like you. Thank you for stopping by to view our listing. If you love the look of the urethane bumper C3 Corvette T-top, we have a nice one to show you.

This beautiful Classic White 1977 Corvette has a numbers matching L-48 engine. The owner has installed headers and a Holley QuadraJet carburetor bolted to a hi-rise aluminum intake. A simple way to add some extra power! The Vette starts right up, idles smooth, and is great fun to drive.

The factory options include: L-48 engine. Turbo Hydra-matic transmission. Tilt and telescoping steering column with cruise control. Air conditioning (compressor needs repair). Power windows. Power brakes. Power steering. The aftermarket radio is a JVC unit with CD player.

I would rate this Corvette as a nice driver. The glossy white paint looks good. There are some chips on the door and front bumper but the body appears to have original fiberglass with no obvious signs of repair. The un-restored frame looks to be solid. The tires are nearly new and wheels are in very good condition. When you look at the Buckskin leather interior, you will note it is well preserved and the seats are in fine condition.

The odometer reads 56,130 (when photographed) and most likely is accurate. There are various papers showing the mileage from years past. Some of the original factory documents have also been saved and come with the car.

The owner reports this Corvette has been very reliable. He and his wife have enjoyed cruising the highways, taking longer trips, and attending car shows. Now, they say, “It is time for a new owner have some fun with this low mileage 1977 Corvette T-top.”

If you love the classic look of the urethane bumper C3, we have an especially nice one to present to you. This never restored and original 1981 Corvette is worthy of your serious consideration. It is a St. Louis–built Corvette (1/81) and left the factory painted a beautiful Beige complimented by the Cinnabar (red) leather interior.

As you browse through the photos, you will see this Vette has been well preserved outside and inside. The frame was undercoated which was a popular dealer add-on option in the eighties. It appears all the original labels attached to the engine by the factory are still there.

Showing just 10,233 miles, the odometer reading appears to be correct judging by the overall condition of the car.

The paint is VERY nice and glossy. It presents well with only slight visible aging. The chassis appears to be structurally sound and is in very good condition thanks to the undercoating. Some of it is starting to flake off because of its age.

The Dark Red leather interior is very well preserved, as you would expect judging by the odometer reading. All gauges, lights, and controls work properly. The air-conditioning blows cold and the factory AM/FM radio with cassette player is ready to playback your “oldies.”

This Corvette is loaded with standard features and options. They are: Air conditioning. Tinted glass. Rear window defogger. Three-speed automatic transmission. Limited-slip differential. Full instrumentation. Anti-theft alarm. Aluminum wheels. Mirror glass removable roof panels. Roof panel carrier (mounts on rear deck). Premium radio with cassette player and power antenna. Leather seating surfaces. Cruise control. Electric remote dual outside mirrors. Power windows. Power steering. Tilt and telescopic steering column. Power disc brakes. Six-way power driver seat. Heavy duty battery. Raised white letter tires (225/70/R15). The tires on this Vette could be the original ones and appear to be in very good condition.

THE VETTE NET - Nationwide Corvette Brokerage Network, proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum is pleased to offer a great value: 1974 Yellow Convertible with manual transmission.

1974 was a special year for Corvette. The last Big Block, 454 rated at 270 HP (!) was ever offered, also this model year has a unique distinction as the rear Chrome bumper was replaced with a two-piece polyurethane bumper cover, unique for the model. This was also the last year for Corvettes to be built without catalytic converters.

From a private collection, comes this fine example adorned in a beautiful Bright Yellow paint done fairly recent (code 56) and the interior is the standard Black Leatherette (code 400). Engine is the base one and has the correct VIN and suffix CKZ (base engine, manual tranny) stamped on the pad as seen in pics. Transmission is the manual 4 speed, and other options include: Air Conditioning, power steering, power brakes, power windows, tilt telescoping steering column, original AM radio...

Everything is in great shape on the car and it works at it should. Tires are new, Convertible top is also new ($1200 spent). It had the same owner since 1994 when it had 47K as stated on the title, now it shows 98K which are likely the actual miles. Lots of documentation and receipts are available to the tune of $20000. Basically, all that needed assistance was take care of so you won't need to.

Due to its great condition, this car recommends itself as an ideal choice for a starter Vette with great value retention potential and possible appreciation with the years.

THE VETTE NET, Nationwide Corvette Brokerage Network, proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum is pleased to offer a fine example of a classy 1978 Vette in excellent condition, great history, lots of new parts, also NCRS-ed in January 2008 to a Second Flight award.

Corvette started its life in Canada as a Canadian delivery model. The only difference is the odometer being in Kilometers. In 1993 the original owner moved to FL and car was titled in the US. Car was sold via THE VETTE NET in 2005 to the second owner with 47K miles (76000 Km). Check out the last six pics from the gallery for 2005 pictures. Second owner from Orlando FL installed new brake rotors, cruise control, speedomeeter cable, etc to the tune of $2006.50.

The third owner in Tampa FL continued to enjoy the car and realizing it was very original and by only adding new wheels and centercaps, he was able to get a very prestigious award, NCRS Second Flight in January 2008 scoring 88.1% .

Well, Second Flight was not enough. Lots of upgrades were done in order to increase the points and progress to the Top Flight status of 94% totaling over $3500: new AC compressor and parts, used stock air cleaner sand blasted, and powder coated to original condition, duct assembly and all the little stuff required for NCRS points: new carpet, insulation, floormats, seat backs, parking brake cover, new antenna & cable (radio works fine now without the booster). All the plastic headliner parts have been removed and dyed back to original Saffron (Mahogany). Repainted valve covers and replaced all worn out stickers under the hood and in storage compartment. Recently, new T-top pads were added.

As mentioned above, car is fully documented, original brochure, paperwork, key knock-offs are available.
Color is a rare and stunning Mahogany (only 2121/40274 made) with the matching Mahogany Leather. Condition is excellent and with a NCRS award it will make a great addition to a private collection, a proud daily driver also with appreciation potential.

Seller would like to trade it together with a 1998 Harley Fatboy Anniversary Edition on a 96 CE LT4 Coupe or Convertible or 96 Grand Sport, or any interesting and special late C4s.

THE VETTE NET, Nationwide Corvette Brokerage Network, proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum is pleased to offer a very nice and rare Corvette reminiscent of the late 70s.

You will be the third owner of this fine example of a 1978 Corvette. Built May 09, 1978 it came to Sarasota FL and was sold to first owner on July 10, 1978 as you see in this warranty form. Second owner got it in May 17, 1979 with 3520 miles and had it ever since. Car was last registered in 1996 and stored properly since. Miles show 21K which are very likely the correct miles on the car, considering its history and condition. It is now back to life in very-nice-to-excellent condition with everything in working order, including even the LOW FUEL light (!), but not the clock (of course!).

It is painted in rare Corvette Dark Brown (code 89) being one only 1991 out of 46779 models built that year. Paint appears to be original and is in very good condition.

Car was ordered with lots of option for the time, the most important feature being the L82 engine rated at 220 HP. Other options include: (RPO, numbers made/price in 1978.

    * MX0 Automatic transmission - 38614/no cost option
    * C60 Air Conditioning  -  37638/$605
    * C49 Rear Window Defogger - 30912/$95
    * A31 Power Windows - 36931/$130
    * D35 Sport Mirrors - 38405 -$40
    * N37 Tilt Telescopic Steering Column - 37858/$175
    * QBS - White-lettered Steel Radial Tires 255/60R15 - 18296/$216.32
    * UP6 - AM/FM Delco Radio with CB radio - 7138/$638
    * U75  Power Antenna - 23069/$49
    * U81 Dual rear speakers - 12340$49
    * ZX2 Convenience group, includes: delay switch for dome, headlight warning buzzer, underhood light, low fuel warning light, interior courtesy lights, color-keyed floor mats, intermittent windshield wipers and RH visor vanity mirror - 37222/$84
    * YJ8 - Aluminum wheels - $28008/$340
    * 692 Dark Brown Leather - 2449/no cost option.

Observe that the car is well optioned. As mentioned above, car was waken up after a 14 year sleep and came back to life right away. All it needed was a new battery and it started with no problem. All fluids were checked and replaced, all rubber parts rejuvenated and seem to perform well. Of course, brakes were original and four were replaced with complete new calipers, pads, etc. Originals are available in case car will be judged. Also, a new radiator was installed, original being available too. AC was recharged and blows cold air, tires were original and were replaced with period and size correct GY as pictured. Original 1978 tires are available if need be.

We are not aware of the type of tops the car came with since right now it is equipped with Astro Top, a one piece acrylic transparent top which fits very well, looks great on the car and keeps the rain out better that the original T-tops.

All in all, due to its originality, condition and documentation, this Corvette could be judged, shown at car shows and also make a snazzy and reliable driver.

THE VETTE NET is a Nationwide and International Corvette Brokerage Network, proud Lifetime Business Member #991 of the National Corvette Museum. We are pleased to offer a special Corvette, 25th Anniversary Coupe.

The Corvette was 25 years old in 1978 and the celebration was on. All 1978s featured a commemorative badge on the front nose. A special two tone paint scheme consisting of dark silver on the lower body and light silver above separated by a dark silver stripe was offered. The production quantity was not limited and 15,283 were sold.

1978 was a year of significant changes to the C3 Corvette. A new

THE VETTE NET.com is a nationwide Corvette brokerage network and a proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum. We are Corvette enthusiasts and owners like you. So, you will understand our excitement over this great looking Kandy Apple Red 1968 Corvette T-top. If you want a classic Vette that makes a statement, here is one to consider. Take a look. The Corvette is located in California.

In 1987, this Corvette was placed in storage wearing its original Polar White paint and still having the original 327/300hp base engine, Muncie 4-speed, and Positrac axle. There the Vette sat until 2005 when the fourth owner purchased the car. He decided to bring the car back to life and make a few improvements.

This Corvette was treated to a frame off restoration completed in 2006. The House of Kolors Kandy paint is absolutely stunning with just the right amount of metallic to dazzle your eyes. The interior is quite nice and has been refreshed with new carpeting and door panels. The original black vinyl seats are in very good condition.

The restoration was done not for judging but to create a beautiful Corvette that can be driven and enjoyed for many years. Mission accomplished!

To complete the package, this 1968 Corvette has power steering, AM/FM radio, power windows, and Positrac axle (3.08 ratio).

Thanks for stopping by to see this beautiful 1976 Restomod Corvette located in Pennsylvania. This special Vette is worthy of your close inspection.

The overall condition of this award-winning Corvette is outstanding. It was restored in 2008 and in 2011 judged “Best of Show C3 Category” at the MAMO Funfest. You might recall having seen this Corvette in a past issue of VETTE Magazine. It was one of the feature Corvettes.

A 383ci. Stroker Chevy engine provides the power (500 est. horsepower). However…. as you’re driving this Vette, you will notice it rides like a much newer Corvette.

The owner of this Vette decided to go the restomod route and he has installed rack and pinion steering with a Flaming River® tilt column and C4 suspension on all four corners. The 700R4 transmission is a four speed automatic with overdrive built by ATI. The Positraction Axle is 3.73. You will be impressed with the ride quality and handling of this Corvette.

Of course, the headers and side exhaust definitely add to the enjoyment of this Corvette. You’ll like sound!

Now it is your turn to consider ownership of this beautiful restomod 1976 Corvette. We welcome all inquiries and are very experienced working with international Corvette enthusiasts. When you are ready, we can connect you with well-qualified Corvette inspection and transportation services. Their costs are reasonable.

FEDERAL EMISSIONS REGULATIONS VEHICLE COMPLIANCE: Beginning in 1975, the Federal Government mandated that all new vehicles must meet specific emissions regulations. Auto manufacturers complied with these regulations starting in 1975 by installing various emissions control devices on every new vehicle produced including Corvettes. These emissions regulations apply to all Corvette models from 1975 up to this present year. TheVetteNet.com cannot guarantee any vehicle 1975 or newer, which we have listed for sale, will have all of its factory original emission components installed or that it will pass the emissions inspection in your state. As the buyer, it is your responsibility to keep your Corvette in compliance with the emissions regulations mandated by your particular state and county. Please check with your local Department of Motor Vehicles (DMV) for additional information.

We are proud to offer a great choice for entering the hobby, a 1974 T-top Coupe which was on-frame restored. This model is quite special, since it marked the end of the transition from the steel bumper cars, now featuring both front and rear polyurethane bumpers. Also, this is the year when the last Big Block engine, the 454, was ever offered on a classic Vette. With a production of 40606, Corvettes were close to the height of their popularity.

This car had two owners and lived all its life in FL. A lot of documentation is available, including the delivery papers (the old Protect-O-Plate), warranty book, records, titles.

It sustained a thorough on-frame restoration with new quality paint, seat covers, door panels, etc. Engine is the original L48 mated with the rare 4-speed manual transmission. Only 3494 Corvettes left the factory with manual transmission which means that less than 10% had this option. Engine is detailed, exhibits lots of power and blows no smoke. AC is original and blows cold. Vacuum system was restored and works flawlessly. Original steel wheels were restored and are fitted with nearly new tires.

This is a great car, all done, ready for weekend cruises, also having a great appreciation potential. Here is your chance to own a classic Stingray without breaking the bank!

Located in FLORIDA, we will assist with delivery nationwide and international. Corvette trades are considered.

THE VETTE NET is a nationwide Corvette brokerage network and proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum. Thanks for stopping by. We are pleased to show you this very original 1980 White 4-SPEED Corvette for your inspection. It shows only 20,218 miles on the odometer – when recently photographed.

The trim tag on this Corvette indicates it was ordered as White (10) with Oyster Leather (122). The condition of the paint and interior is INCREDIBLY NICE. It has never been restored. In fact, this is a Corvette you could submit for Bloomington Survivor® judging and/or just enjoy cruising around.

Under the hood you will find a L48 engine that is numbers matching and appears to have all the factory original parts bolted on except the alternator. The original is in storage. As you can see, the engine bay looks very original and has just the right patina for a very low mileage car.

This C3 runs great and has plenty of power. You’ll feel it as you run through the gears of the Muncie 4-speed. Take a closer look at the engine bay photos and you will see it has A/C (blows cold) and the original labels applied at the factory.

This Corvette is very well preserved and the frame is in excellent original condition. It is quite obvious the two caretakers of this Corvette have done a great job. They also kept numerous original dealer documents including the Sales Order Form and Build Sheet.

Only about ten percent of the 1980 Corvettes were ordered with the Muncie 4-speed transmission. The Gymkhana suspension option was another low production option. This Vette has both!

The original build sheet shows these options: L48 engine • M18 Muncie transmission • FE7 Gymkhana suspension • PE3 axle (3.07 ratio) • K73 Alternator (70 AMP) • CC1 Glass roof panels • C49 Rear defogger • AU3 Power door locks • N90 Aluminum wheels • UA1 Heavy duty battery • UM2 AM/FM Stereo with 8-track cassette • U81 Dual rear speakers • GXH P255/60 R15 Raised White Letter tires • U75 Power antenna. Standard features are power steering • tilt steering wheel • power brakes •  power windows • tinted windows • air conditioning • T-top hold-down straps • courtesy lights.

This is a highly optioned very low mileage nearly original 1980 Corvette. You just don’t find these for sale very often and in this wonderful condition. Every thing except the clocks works. Your close inspection of this Corvette can be arranged and I would be happy to assist you. The Vette is located in Michigan.
