GENERAL INFORMATION: This very desirable Saddle Tan 1963 Corvette convertible is located in FLORIDA.

THE VETTE NET is honored to show you this classic Sting Ray convertible. We are a professional Corvette brokerage network and proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum. Thanks for stopping by.

The owner of this 1963 Corvette convertible has noted the engine is not original. It appears to be a 1968 Chevrolet 327 small block. It runs very strong and does not smoke at idle or under acceleration.

The VIN indicates this 1963 convertible is an early model (assembly date). All body panels have the correct bonding strips and the panels appear to be original.

The Saddle Tan paint has a couple of minor chips from driving (maybe 4 total on the front end), but overall the paint is in good condition. There is a small (2”) paint crack by the hood emblem peak. The owner states that is the worst spot on the car.

There is a windshield wiper mark on the passenger’s side and the owner says it will buff out. New correct style wipers and arms have been recently installed (following the photography).

The Saddle interior and carpeting was replaced in 2014. The passenger seat has 2 small nicks but everything else is in good condition. The dash covering(s) is original and still soft. No cracks or dry rot. As you will notice, the center part of dash is painted black and not covered.

The owner reports other than the clock all gauges and switches function as you would expect. The radio is an old aftermarket tape deck. The doors and crank windows open and close properly.

This Corvette comes with a hardtop that was painted with the car. It has been refreshed but the Plexiglass windows appear to be original and dated. The rear window does have some scratches.

The frame appears solid with no visible evidence of rust through. The frame end caps were replaced with correct repair pieces.

SPECIFICATIONS/OPTIONS/Features: This 1963 Corvette convertible was ordered with a 300hp engine as indicated by the tach redline. It has a Muncie 4-speed but the owner is not sure if it is the original. The original radio has been replaced (a long time ago) with an aftermarket model with tape deck. The hardtop does come with the car and is in good condition. The tan soft top is like new.

CONDITION RATING: (Using a 10-high scale): The owner rates the overall condition of this Corvette as 7+. All the normal maintenance has been done and this Corvette is ready for you to enjoy.

Recent mechanical/cosmetic work includes…..Starter, alternator, clutch, carb, intake, belts and hoses, brake lines and master cylinder, fuel tank and sender, rear wiring harness/engine wiring harness, exhaust system, tires and rally wheels with trim rings, parking lights, grille and surround molding, steering wheel, door handles, emblems, side and rear view mirrors, and weatherstripping…..It’s all new!

The suspension was replace in 2015. The interior except for dash pads has been restored. The tan soft top is one year old. The bumpers were re-chromed in 2016

It is not often that we come across a gem like this: a documented, original, unmolested time capsule which retains the authentic look of the era, all the while being in excellent mechanical and cosmetic condition.

Our offer today is a very special 1965 Coupe, two family owned since new, mostly in California.  It has only one re-spray in the factory Milano Maroon and has an original no-hit body.  Needless to say, all numbers are matching with the exception of the starter.

It retains all the original spark shielding, air cleaner and radiator . A teak (factory option) steering wheel and dash, original shifter and glass . Only the needed general maintenance items were done: new rear axle bearings,              brakes (calipers, rubber lines, pads), front and rear rubber bushings, rebuilt                         carburetor/distributor and new mufflers .  The car wears older “western” knock off wheels with gold lines having good rubber.  All pins and hammer (for the wheels), spare tire, jack etc. are with the car. Some original paper work including NCRS registration, window sticker and some receipts are with the car . The car runs and drives great, everything works, clock, power antenna, all lights/turn signals, horn, interior lighting.  Clear CA title and retains its correct Black Cali license plates.  A very original underside that has never been undercoated and has all original                  unpainted fiberglass.   A nice original interior color in the code correct maroon (converted from vinyl).   100% clean birdcage...

Options include, but are not necessarily limited to the following:

a numbers-matching 327cid/300bhp V8 engine(L75);
4-speed transmission(M20);
posi-traction(G81);

comfort and convenience group(Z01);
The tires are Firestone Deluxe Champion gold wall, size 7:75-15 mounted on aftermarket Western cast aluminum Knock-Off wheels, all in very good condition.

THE VETTE NET is a nationwide Corvette brokerage network and proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum. Thanks for stopping by to look at this white 1964 Corvette convertible located in DELEWARE.

The white with red interior was a very popular color combination back then and has become synonymous with classic Corvettes. Those colors certainly add to the visual appeal of this Sting Ray.

If you are looking for a small block convertible but don’t care about matching numbers, this is a nice one. Look inside the engine bay and you will see a 1971 Corvette 350c.i. engine. It runs very strong and will certainly put a smile on your face. Of course, the Muncie 4-speed just adds to the fun-factor this beautiful Corvette will provide you.

Looking at the options on this Vette it seems the first owner wanted a nice convertible to cruise around. That owner specified a base engine and 4-speed transmission as well as power steering, Positraction, AM/FM Delco Radio, and a Soft Ray tinted windshield.

The overall cosmetic condition of this Corvette is good. The body was repainted by a previous owner and still looks very nice (rated 7). The interior appears original and does show some wear and aging, as you would expect. The chrome and stainless trim are in good condition as are the wheel covers. The frame appears solid and the body panels look factory original, as does the glass.

The owner reports his Corvette is reliable and in good mechanical condition. All the gauges, lights, switches, etc. are functioning properly. The engine runs strong and this Corvette receives regular yearly maintenance. The suspension, brakes, and exhaust are good and should provide many more years of service.

This 1964 Sting Ray convertible is an excellent value ready for you to enjoy. I welcome all inquiries and have considerable experience working with international Corvette enthusiasts. Pre-purchase inspections can be arranged at reasonable cost. I will be happy to provide you with estimates for transport service as well.

Don’t procrastinate and miss an opportunity to own a very desirable classic Sting Ray. THE VETTE NET, Nationwide Corvette Brokerage Network, proud Lifetime Business Member of the National Corvette Museum is pleased to offer a very special Corvette: 1963 Red Convertible with the rare Fuel Injection option.

Present owner had the car since 1996, bought from a Classic car company in Missouri. It was complete and running with original matching numbers engine.

Actual owner thoroughly verified the numbers on the block and cylinder heads and crosschecked them with the build date of the car. There was no reason to suspect anything and it is strongly believed that this is the engine that the car came with.

The engine was immediately removed and replaced with a generic 327 Corvette engine in order to preserve the original. Brakes were restored and car was driven occasionally.

In 2007 the Fuel Injection unit was sent to a reputable FI shop run by Jack Podell http://www.jackpodellfuelinjections.com/ where it sustained a complete restoration. When the unit came back after more than a year, the actual owner decided to do a complete frame-off restoration.

Car was stripped and was taken to GT Graphics and Customs in Bradenton, FL. They removed the body from the frame and was sent to be media blasted with soda, then prepped for paint in the original Riverside Red. As the body work was going on, frame was completely stripped and coated in epoxy primer. Then, the frame and control arms was shot with GM Restoration black. The control arms maintain the original style ball joints (not the bolt on replacements).

Engine was rebuilt by a local machine shop. According to the restorer, who did hundreds of Chevrolet engines, it is without a doubt the original stamping, not a restamp. Frame and drive train restoration was finished, then car was taken back to GT Graphics to mount the body to the frame. This was completed around November of 2008. The bumpers (original GM) were sent out to Tampa, FL for chroming and when they returned the assembly began.

The car was partially assembled (chrome, trim, etc) and sent to Corvettes West for final assembly. The car was wired, interior installed and started at that shop. The final assembly was completed by an NCRS judge so everything could be as close to original as possible. No nut or bolt was left untouched. Even the hub caps were sent to California to be professionally restored. The tires are period correct. Even the white soft top is dated to match the car.

Finally, the car was complete around June of 2009. It was just too nice to drive on the street, so the owner decided to sell in order to be preserved in a private collection. Car is practically new, restored to higher standards and is a serious NCRS candidate.

It comes with the correct hardtop too. Located in Florida we will assist with delivery nationwide and internationally.

The engine and transmission are original to the car. Rear end also most likely. Mechanically sound drivetrain. The 300 HP L75 starts easy and runs clean and strong. Runs at 180 degrees in Florida heat. Easy and sure shifts. The power brakes stop the car quickly. Tight front end and no play. Original driveline including the L75 327/300HP engine; M21 4-speed transmission and 3:70 posi rear-end.

The interior is very original including the seats, door panels, dash and carpet. Seats were probably re-stuffed. This Corvette sustained a thorough on-frame restoration with no expenses spared. All basically was gone through and looks and functions like new, yes, even the clock!

It is powered by the optional L75 327/300 engine with the correct VIN and suffix stamped on the engine pad, coupled with a factory Powerglide Automatic transmission and Power Steering. It has correct 1965 hubcaps with new tires. One interesting fact is that even if it was a late production car, it features the optional drum brakes which were still an option with credit of $64.50 to customer. Apparently only 316 buyers opted for that instead of the recently introduced standard disk brakes.

This particular fine automobile is a great choice for a weekend driver... no need to shift ladies and gents! It also a great show car and an investment vehicle...
